#MAKE THESE WOMEN FAMOUS
72 hours after George Zimmerman was found not guilty, deemed to be acting in self-defense when he shot & killed 17 year-old Trayvon Martin, we talked to 3 young men of color to hear their perspectives. Our friend Emeka Ekwelum was currently teaching at DDC, a summer youth program at Columbia University, and told us how humbled he'd been by the thoughtfulness of his students, as they had conversations about the verdict. So we asked director Damani Baker to come with us and capture any young men who wanted to speak to the Interrupt audience. Daniel Wolfe is 16, John Nicolas and Nick Rodriguez are 17.
