COMO AMAR UN MUNDO HERIDO / HOW TO LOVE A HURTING WORLD

FEB 2026. DECIDIDAS, PROYECTOS PÚBLICOS, MEXICO CITY.

Entering a rope sanctuary we are enveloped in a story without resolution. Guests are offered psalms, songs, strategies, metaphors, and objects they might find useful as the collage their own pañuelo of belonging and fortitude.

CADA ABRAZO ES SEMILLA / OGNI ABBRACCIO È UN SEME

APRIL 2026. Quintosapore, Città della Pieve, Umbira, Italy. Casa de la Misericordia y Todas Las Naciones, Nogales, Mexico.

Made at the Terra e Umanita’ gathering in collaboration with artists, farmers, and peace activists on Quintosapore farm in Cietta della Pieve with Navdanya International, Unione Buddhista Italiana, Comunedi Citta della Pieve, Slow Food Italia, Resurgence Trust, Fattoria la Vialla, Kamin Mohammadi, Ruchi Shroff, and Satish Kumar, we experimented with writing collective narratives through seed, textile, and oral storytelling. At the same time, across the world, children at Casa de la Misericordia cyanotype the same bandannas. And find they both share a tradition of planting a tree for every child.

With a long history as a symbol of solidarity, and a garment with daily usefulness–worn so close to our body and our labors–the bandana is a powerful icon of belonging and fortitude. It is a canvas can make space for imagining and recognizing the life that our most loving labor makes possible.

Collective storytelling for collective liberation!
