Supremely Unequivocal in Our Commitment to this Moment of Being
QUEENS BOTANICAL GARDEN, NEW YORK. October 2026-March 2027
An invitation to co-author with children and the living world. Cameron Russell and Mei Tao present an exploration of how to better move with children in an era of unfolding polycrises by designing for play, improvisation, and collaboration: being and creating in ways where young people can thrive and lead. Working through photography, sculpture, performance, poetry, and drawing, Tao, Russell, and sixty-one young farmer artists from Harlem Grown investigate how to make the city a more welcoming environment for humans, animals, and plants alike.
VIsitors of all ages are invited to explore and contribute to an installation of the project and commit to this moment of being: play with light, shadow, wind, and sound; create with plants and one another.
Please join us on October 284th from 1-3pm for an opening reception and story-telling workshop for caregivers and children. RSVP here.
